Change Your GWMS Login Password

1. Scenario
When you need to update your account password regularly, or you suspect the current password may have been exposed, you can change the password directly in Personal Center.
Applicable scenarios:
- You have just taken over the account and need to replace the old password.
- Your company requires regular password rotation.
- You believe the current password may be known by others and want to replace it immediately.
2. Instructions
2.1 Open the Change Password tab
Menu path: GWMS-Top-right avatar-Personal Center-Change Password
Open Personal Center and switch to the Change Password tab.
2.2 Enter the password and submit
In the Change Password tab, fill in:
Current PasswordNew PasswordConfirm Password
After completing the fields, click Save. The system first shows the confirmation message After the password is changed successfully, you will be forced to log out and log in again. Continue?. After you confirm, the system submits the change, logs out the current account automatically, and redirects to the login page.
3. Supplementary Notes
3.1 New password validation rules
Current Passwordis required.New Passwordis required.New Passwordmust be 6 to 20 characters long.New Passwordcannot contain these characters:<,>,",',\,|Confirm Passwordmust exactly matchNew Password.
3.2 What the system does after a successful password change
After the password is updated successfully, the system does not keep you on the current page. It logs out the current session directly, and you need to sign in to GWMS again with the new password.
3.3 What the Close button does
Clicking Close closes the current page and does not submit the password change.
4. FAQ
Q1: Why am I logged out right after I click Save?
A1: This is the default system behavior. After a successful password change, the system forces the current account to sign in again so that the old session cannot continue under the previous password state.
Q2: Why does the system say the two passwords do not match?
A2: Check whether Confirm Password is exactly the same as New Password, including letter case and special characters.
