My Stocktaking
1. Scenario
Go to GWMS-Inventory Management-My Stocktaking to search existing stocktaking orders, track their status, or click 【Add】 to create a new task.
Use this page to:
- Search by warehouse, inventory number, or status.
- Review total profit and loss, start time, operation time, status, and remarks.
- Start a new stocktaking order.
2. Steps
Prerequisites
- Your account can open 【Inventory Management-My Stocktaking】.
- An existing order is required when searching history.
- A warehouse and SKU are available when creating a new order.
2.1 Search for an order
The numbered callouts show the sequence:
- Open 【My Stocktaking】 under 【Inventory Management】.
- Enter 【Warehouse】, 【Inventory Number】, or 【Status】.
- Click 【Add】 to start a new stocktaking task.
- Review the order number, warehouse, profit and loss, time, status, and remarks.
Click 【Search】 to apply filters or 【Reset】 to clear them.
2.2 Review the result
The list shows:
- 【Inventory Number】 and 【Warehouse】.
- 【Total Profit and Loss】, which summarizes the quantity difference for the order.
- 【Start Time】 and 【Operation Time】.
- 【Status】 and 【Remarks】.
Completion result: you locate the target order and confirm whether it is still being processed and whether a quantity difference has been recorded.
2.3 Create a new order
Click 【Add】 to open the stocktaking dialog.
The numbered callouts show the sequence:
- Click 【Add】 to open the creation dialog.
- Select the required 【Warehouse】 and 【SKU】.
- Click the inventory-query button to load matching inventory.
- Click 【Confirm】 to create the order or 【Cancel】 to close the dialog.
Steps:
- Select 【Warehouse】.
- Select 【SKU】.
- Click the inventory-query button.
- Review the returned inventory scope.
- Click 【Confirm】 to create the order.
- Return to My Stocktaking and search for the generated order.
If the warehouse list is empty, check the warehouses available to your account. If no SKU is available, check its status under Product Management and confirm that it has inventory in the selected warehouse.
Before and after:
- Before: no stocktaking task exists for this request.
- After: the system creates an order that can be tracked on this page.
The current English page still shows the dialog title and inventory-query button in Chinese. Their positions are marked above.
2.4 Start from My Inventory
My Inventory also provides an 【Inventory Count】 button. Expand the result and select an eligible detail row first; the button is unavailable while no record is selected.
3. Notes
【Total Profit and Loss】 is the order-level difference, not the difference for one SKU. Use the order number and warehouse when asking the warehouse to confirm item-level details.
Creating a stocktaking order does not immediately change inventory. Inventory changes depend on the completed stocktaking result and warehouse processing.
Closing or cancelling the creation dialog does not create an order. If an order has already been created and should stop, confirm its current status with the warehouse.
4. FAQ
Q1: Why does the page show No Data?
A1: Click 【Reset】 and search again. Confirm that your account has created stocktaking orders and can access the relevant warehouse.
Q2: Why can I not find the order I just created?
A2: Clear the status and inventory-number filters, then confirm that the selected warehouse matches the warehouse used during creation.
Q3: What does a total profit and loss of zero mean?
A3: The current order has no summarized quantity difference. Also check the status to confirm that the task is complete.
Q4: Why does the inventory query return no result?
A4: Confirm that both warehouse and SKU are selected and that the SKU has inventory in that warehouse.
Q5: Does inventory change immediately after creation?
A5: No. The system first creates a stocktaking order. Inventory changes depend on the completed result and warehouse processing.
