FAQ: Why can't I find a newly added SKU in the Inbound Forecast?

Problem Description

I just added a SKU in Product Management, but when creating an Inbound Forecast and selecting item values, I can't find that SKU code, preventing me from submitting the forecast.

Solution

In the GWMS system, a SKU must be in "Available/Enabled" status to participate in business operations. Troubleshoot using the following steps:

  1. Check the review status:

    • Go to the GWMS-Product Management-SKU list.
    • Check the Status column for that SKU. If it is "Pending Review (PENDING)," it cannot be selected in downstream business operations such as inbound and outbound.
    • Resolution: Contact the warehouse-side lead and request a SKU Review for this SKU.
  2. Check permission scope:

    • Confirm whether the currently logged-in account has permission to view SKUs under this customer.
    • If the SKU belongs to a different customer, and you are creating a forecast for the current customer, it will also be unselectable.
  3. Check for cache delay:

    • Although system data is real-time, if the review was just completed, we recommend refreshing the "Create Inbound Forecast" page and re-clicking the dropdown to trigger auto-complete search.

System Rules

  • Pending Review: Draft status, used only for data entry.
  • Enabled: Official basic data, usable for receiving, putaway, inventory, and outbound.
  • Disabled: Obsolete or delisted products, also unselectable in business documents.
