Viewing the GWMS Customer Home Dashboard
Last updated: 2026-04-13
1. Scenario
The home dashboard is a centralized display of core business metrics, providing customers with a global view of inventory status, order trends, and financial overview.
It helps customers quickly determine — without opening multiple detail lists — whether there is a backlog of orders, whether the inventory structure is healthy, and whether the account balance is sufficient, all through a visual dashboard.
Applicable scenarios:
- Daily routine checks to review order load and processing progress.
- Before stock counts, to quickly understand the backlog scale across various order types.
- Replenishment decision support, using inventory load and health status to determine when to restock.
2. Instructions
2.1 Core KPI Cards
Menu path: GWMS-Home
At the top of the home page, you can view the following core business data in real time:
- Total Inventory: The total physical inventory count of all SKUs under the current customer.
- Available Inventory: The inventory quantity available for order allocation and shipment (after deducting defective, frozen, and pending-outbound reserved quantities).
- In-Transit Inventory: Quantities that have passed warehouse-side review but have not yet been received and put away (based on inbound forecast orders).
- Pending Shipment: The total number of outbound orders submitted but not yet completed by the warehouse.
- Shipped: The number of orders completed for outbound today, with a comparison trend against yesterday. The trend value is a percentage change, calculated as (Today - Yesterday) / Yesterday × 100%. Displays 100% when yesterday is 0.
2.2 Business Trends and Load Analysis
- Inbound/Outbound Load (Past 7 Days): A line chart showing operational fluctuations over the past week. If the curve continues to trend upward, we recommend paying timely attention to warehouse turnover efficiency.
- Financial Overview: Visually displays account available balance and recent consumption composition. If the balance is insufficient, refer to Account List to top up promptly.
2.3 Inventory Health Monitoring
The system automatically classifies SKUs into four categories based on sales velocity:
- Out of Stock: Available inventory <= 0, and the system has a record of previous inbound. Replenishment should be arranged immediately.
- Healthy: Available inventory > 0, and there has been an outbound record within the last 30 days or a new putaway record within the last 30 days.
- Slow-Moving: Available inventory > 0, but the most recent outbound or putaway date is 31–90 days ago. Such inventory is recommended for promotional clearance to reduce storage costs.
- Dead Stock: Available inventory > 0, but the most recent outbound or putaway date is more than 90 days ago. Such inventory is recommended for priority clearance to reduce storage costs.
2.4 Smart Alerts and Quick Navigation
- Smart Alerts: Displays order alerts that have reached inventory alert thresholds or have abnormal status. For processed alerts, you can manually click Close.
- Quick Navigation: Clicking on certain metric cards or chart details automatically navigates to the corresponding business detail page.
3. Supplementary Notes
3.1 Data Statistics Dimensions
Home page data by default displays aggregated results for all warehouses assigned under the current account. If you select a specific warehouse in the top-right corner, charts and metrics will only display data for that warehouse.
3.2 Data Refresh Frequency (Caching Mechanism)
To ensure smooth system performance, the home dashboard uses a caching mechanism. Data is not synchronized in real time. This means home page data may temporarily differ from data on business list pages and detail pages. To verify specific orders, please go directly to the corresponding business detail page.
Specific cache intervals are as follows:
- Core KPI Metrics (Total/Available/In-Transit Inventory): updated approximately every 3 minutes.
- Pending Shipment/Shipped: updated approximately every 2 minutes.
- Inbound/Outbound Load Trend Chart: updated approximately every 5 minutes.
- Financial Overview: updated approximately every 5 minutes.
- Inventory Health: updated approximately every 10 minutes.
- Smart Alerts: updated approximately every 1 minute.
If you have just completed a high-volume operation (such as batch importing SKUs or submitting a large number of outbound orders), please wait for the corresponding time before refreshing the home page to view statistical changes. Since different modules have different cache intervals, there may also be brief time discrepancies between different cards on the home page.
4. FAQ
Q1: The "Shipped" count on the home page doesn't match the "Completed" count in the outbound order list. Why?
A1: There are usually two reasons: first, each home page module has a cache delay of 1–10 minutes (see Section 3.2); second, the home page counts "today's" shipped quantity — please confirm whether the list page filter conditions include orders completed on non-today dates.
Q2: Can the "Slow-Moving" criteria in Inventory Health be customized?
A2: The current slow-moving logic (31–90 days) and dead stock logic (> 90 days) are system-preset standard business rules and do not currently support per-account customization. We recommend periodically exporting data based on this dashboard and performing secondary filtering analysis in GWMS-Inventory Operations-My Inventory.
Q3: Why does my home page show "No Data"?
A3: This usually occurs with newly provisioned accounts. Please confirm whether the system has completed Initial Setup (inbound, product records, etc.). If you already have business activity but still see no data, confirm whether you may have mistakenly selected a warehouse with no associated business.
