Maintain the Truck Address Book ​

1. Scenario ​

Truck Address Book stores frequently used pickup and destination addresses for Truck Inquiry. Each record includes contact details, the complete address, and transportation service options.

2. Operation Guide ​

2.1 Search and Select an Address ​

Menu path: GWMS-Fee Management-Truck Address Book

  1. Expand Fee Management.
  2. Select Truck Address Book.
  3. Enter a keyword in Name.
  4. Click Search. Click Reset to clear the filter.

Select one record to enable Edit, or use the icon in the Action column.

2.2 Add an Address ​

  1. Click Add New.
  2. Enter the address name and select Address type.
  3. Enter the contact name, phone, and extension number.
  4. Enter Address Line 1, Address Line 2, city, state/province, postal code, and country.
  5. Select the required service options and click Confirm.

  4. Confirm and Cancel.

Result: The address is saved and can be selected when creating a Truck Inquiry.

3. Additional Notes ​

  • Address types include business scenarios such as Commercial and FBA. Select the type that matches the actual destination.
  • Address lines, city, state/province, postal code, and country form the complete address.
  • Service options include Residential Address, Remote Address, Liftgate Required, Indoor Delivery Required, Appointment Required, and No Signature Required.
  • Updating an address affects future inquiries. A submitted inquiry retains the address information saved in its details.

4. FAQ ​

Q1: Why is Edit disabled? ​

Select one address record first.

Q2: What should I enter when Address Line 2 is not applicable? ​

Follow the required-field prompt and use the placeholder agreed by your team when there is no suite or unit information.

Q3: Can service options be changed later? ​

Yes. Edit the address book record, and verify the options again for each inquiry.

Q4: Why is a newly added address missing from Truck Inquiry? ​

Confirm that it was saved, then refresh or reopen the address selector on the inquiry page.
