Shelving Record ​

1. Scenario ​

After receiving, go to GWMS-Inbound Management-Shelving Record to check the target location, shelved quantity, operating time, and operator.

Legend:

  1. Open 【Shelving Record】 under 【Inbound Management】.
  2. Search by order, owner, warehouse, receiving box number, SKU, GSKU, SKU name, location code, or shelving time.
  3. Review the shelving box, SKU, location, quantity, time, and operator.

2. Steps ​

2.1 Search for shelving records ​

  • Use 【Inbound order number】 to review one complete inbound order.
  • Use 【Receiving box number】 to trace a specific box.
  • Use 【SKU】, 【GSKU】, or SKU name to find a specific item.
  • Use 【Location Code】 to check records for a storage location.
  • Use the shelving-time range to find work completed during a period.

Click 【Search】 to run the query or 【Reset】 to clear filters.

2.2 Reconcile the list ​

The list shows order information, shelving box number, owner, warehouse, SKU, location code, shelved quantity, shelving time, and shelving operator.

To check whether one inbound order is complete, search by order number, total the shelved quantity by SKU, and compare it with Receiving Record. If received quantity is greater than shelved quantity, confirm whether warehouse work is still in progress.

3. Notes ​

Receiving means that the warehouse accepted the goods. Shelving means that the goods entered a specific storage location. An order can be fully received while still only partially shelved.

4. FAQ ​

Q1: Why does Receiving Record have data while Shelving Record is empty? ​

A1: The goods may not have been shelved yet, or the current filters may be too narrow. Reset the filters and confirm the work status with the warehouse.

Q2: Why does one SKU have several shelving records? ​

A2: The SKU may have been split by box, batch, or location. Each shelving operation is recorded separately.

Q3: What if the shelved and received quantities differ? ​

A3: First check whether the order is still partially shelved. If warehouse work is complete, provide the order number, SKU, received quantity, and shelved quantity to the warehouse for review.
