Create Dropship Orders in GWMS

1. Scenario

This guide applies when customers create outbound orders, submit outbound orders, or cancel outbound orders (intercept outbound orders) in GWMS-Outbound Management-Dropshipping.

2. Steps

Prerequisites

Please confirm the following before you start:

  • Your account can access GWMS-Outbound Management-Dropshipping and click 【Add】.
  • The shipping warehouse, business type, recipient information, and SKU quantities are ready.
  • Available shipping channels have been configured for the current warehouse and business type.

2.1 Open the creation page

Go to GWMS-Outbound Management-Dropshipping and click 【Add】.

2.2 Select shipping warehouse and business type

Select the following fields:

  • 【Shipping Warehouse】
  • 【Business】

【Platform Order No.】 is optional.

2.3 Fill in recipient information

There are 2 ways to fill in recipient information:

  • Method 1: Paste the name, phone number, address, and other recipient information into the text box on the left, then click AI Parse and Fill. If the parsed information is incorrect, edit it manually.

2.4 Add SKUs

Click 【Add SKU】 to start selecting SKUs.

2.5 Select shipping channel

Shipping channels are divided into Self Pickup and Non-Self Pickup.

  • Non-Self Pickup channels usually allow the system to obtain the shipping label.

  • Self Pickup channel codes usually end with "_A". You need to upload the shipping label and enter the tracking number.

2.6 Shipping rate quote (optional)

If you need to purchase a shipping label, you can get a rate quote first.

2.7 Select signature service (optional)

When a Non-Self Pickup channel is selected, supported signature options are displayed. If no options are displayed, signature service is not supported for the channel.

Options include:

  • 【Direct Signature】
  • 【Indirect Signature】
  • 【Adult Signature】
  • 【No Signature Required】

2.8 Save

Click 【Save】 at the bottom of the page to save the order.

Click Save to finish creating the outbound order

The save rules on this page include:

  • If no channel is selected, GWMS prompts 【Please select a channel】.
  • If no SKU is added, the page prompts 【Please add SKU】.
  • After the order is created successfully, GWMS shows 【Added successfully】.
  • A new order is created in 【Draft】 status by default.

2.9 Submit to warehouse

After the order is saved, it is still in "Draft" status. Submit the order so the warehouse can start processing it.

2.10 Intercept order (cancel order)

If the order no longer needs to be shipped, such as when the buyer cancels the order, intercept the submitted order by clicking the cancel button.

  • Only orders that have not been waved can be canceled.
  • After cancellation succeeds, the order returns to "Draft" status.

4. FAQ

Q1: Why can't I select a shipping channel?

A1: Contact warehouse customer service to enable the channel.

Q2: When is the shipping label obtained?

A2: After submission, GWMS obtains the shipping label asynchronously. There may be a delay. Check again later. It is usually completed within 10 minutes. After the label is obtained successfully, the tracking number is returned and can be viewed in the list. If it fails, the failure message is displayed.
