Print Wave Picking Lists in GWMS
Last updated: 2026-04-14
1. Scenario
A wave picking list summarizes picking tasks by wave. Warehouse staff use it to pick SKUs by location and quantity.
Use this guide after waves have been created and you need to print one or more standard A4 picking lists.
2. Steps
Prerequisites
- Your account can access
GWMS-Outbound Management-Wave Management. - The target wave has already been created.
- The computer is connected to a usable printer.
- For standard picking lists, prepare A4 paper.
2.1 Open Wave Management
Go to GWMS-Outbound Management-Wave Management.
Use filters such as warehouse, wave number, outbound status, carrier, picker, and remarks, then click 【Search】.
2.2 Select waves
Select one or more waves on the left side of the list. After selection, the 【Print Picking List】 button becomes available.
Click 【Print Picking List】.
2.3 Start printing
GWMS generates the print content. After generation succeeds, the browser opens the picking list print page and the local print dialog appears.
If generation fails, GWMS shows a print failure prompt. If no wave is selected, GWMS asks you to select a wave first.
2.4 Check the print page
On the print page, check the wave barcode, wave summary, and picking details. Confirm printer, copies, and paper size, then print.
3. Notes
3.1 What the standard picking list contains
The standard picking list displays wave barcode, title, page number, order count, SKU count, location count, picker, carrier, print time, and details such as location, GSKU, SKU name, and quantity.
3.2 Printing multiple waves
You can select multiple waves. GWMS appends each wave as a separate print section in one print task.
3.3 Difference from 10 x 10 picking list
【Print Picking List】 is an A4 summary for wave picking. 【Print 10 x 10 Picking List】 is an order-style label better suited for small label paper.
4. FAQ
Q1: Why is 【Print Picking List】 disabled?
A1: Select at least one wave first. Print buttons remain disabled until a wave is selected.
Q2: Can I print multiple waves at once?
A2: Yes. Select multiple waves and GWMS will append them to the same print task.
Q3: Why does the print page show picker as unassigned?
A3: The wave has no picker set. Set a picker in wave management if the picking list needs to show a person.
Q4: Can I reprint a picking list after the wave has shipped?
A4: If the wave can still be selected in the list, you can reprint it for archive or review. Confirm the purpose before using historical documents on the warehouse floor.
