1. Scenario

Pallet Management uses two pages:

• GWMS-Outbound Management-Pallet Labels: generate labels by warehouse and download the batch PDF.
• GWMS-Outbound Management-Pallet Status: review the related wave, operator, pallet usage status, and picking, labeling, review, and loading progress.

A label starts as unused. Its first operational scan records the first scan time and picker, and later operations update pallet and process statuses.

2. Steps

Prerequisites

1. Your account can access Pallet Labels and Pallet Status.
2. You know the warehouse and required label quantity.
3. The computer can open and print PDF files.

2.1 Review label batches

1. Go to GWMS-Outbound Management-Pallet Labels.
2. Select 【Warehouse】 and click 【Search】.
3. Review 【Latest Pallet Label Batch】 and the batch list.

The latest card shows batch number, warehouse, used/total quantity, usage rate, creation time, and Download PDF. The list shows Batch No., Warehouse, Quantity, Used, Usage Rate, Status, and Created At. With no warehouse selected, available batches from all accessible warehouses are shown. If only one warehouse is available, GWMS selects it automatically.

2.2 Generate pallet labels

1. Click 【Generate Pallet Labels】, 【Generate a Batch】, or 【Print Another Batch】.
2. Select 【Warehouse】.
3. Enter 【Quantity】. The default is 100; one batch supports 1 to 500 labels.
4. Click 【Confirm】.

Warehouse and Quantity are required. After success, GWMS refreshes the selected warehouse and opens the batch PDF. If the browser blocks it, use Download in the batch list. A missing file address produces a PDF address warning.

2.3 Download and print

Click 【Download PDF】 on the latest card or 【Download】 in the list. Check the warehouse, quantity, label number, and barcode, then print on the required label stock. Control reprints carefully so the same pallet number is not attached to multiple pallets.

2.4 Search pallet status

1. Go to GWMS-Outbound Management-Pallet Status.
2. The page defaults to 【Pallet Status = In Use】.
3. Filter by Warehouse Code, Pallet No., Wave No., WMS Order No., GSKU, Tracking No., Picker, First Scan Time, Pick Completion Time, Pallet Status, Picking Status, Label Status, Review Status, or Loading Status.
4. Click 【Search】.

The list shows warehouse, pallet, wave, picker, operation times, pallet status, reviewed/total order count, and picking/labeling/review/loading statuses. Reset restores Pallet Status to In Use and clears other filters and date ranges.

2.5 View pallet details

Click a Pallet No. to open Pallet Details. The dialog shows Wave No., WMS Order No., Tracking No., GSKU, Picked Quantity, location, scan operator, and scan time. Use the copy icon beside the pallet number to copy it.

3. Notes

3.1 Pallet-label status

• 【Unused】: generated but not used operationally.
• 【In Use】: scanned and associated with operational data.
• 【Void】: cannot be used for a new pallet operation.

A label must belong to the current warehouse.

3.2 Process statuses

• Picking: Not Picked, Picking, Picked.
• Labeling: Not Labeled, Labeling, Labeled.
• Review: Not Reviewed, Reviewing, Reviewed.
• Loading: Not Loaded, Loaded, Dispatched.

Pallet Status describes label usage. Process statuses describe completion stages; they are not interchangeable.

3.3 Batches and labels

Each generation creates one batch and the requested number of unique labels. Used and Usage Rate count labels that have entered operation; they do not represent order completion inside pallets.

3.4 Continuing a completed pallet

Scanning a pallet after picking is complete triggers confirmation or validation. Confirm that work should continue before adding more orders to a completed pallet.

4. FAQ

Q1: Why can't one batch contain more than 500 labels?

A1: The batch limit is 500. Generate additional batches to keep issuance and usage-rate reconciliation manageable.

Q2: What should I do if the PDF did not open after generation?

A2: Check pop-up blocking and use Download in the batch list. If the PDF address is missing, generate another batch or ask an administrator to check the file.

Q3: Why does Pallet Status show only in-use pallets by default?

A3: The default filter is In Use. Change Pallet Status to find unused or void labels.

Q4: Why does scanning say that the label belongs to another warehouse?

A4: Labels belong to the warehouse selected during generation. Use a label generated for the current warehouse.

Q5: Is In Use inconsistent with Not Picked?

A5: No. In Use means the label has entered operation; Not Picked means picking has not started or no picking progress has been recorded.
