Use the GWMS Service Guide

Updated: 2026-05-20

1. Scenario

Definition: The GWMS Service Guide is the page where the warehouse reviews standard service items and maintains default charge nodes for each business type.

Purpose: Before you prepare a predefined quotation or a customer quotation, you can use this page to confirm the current service items, base price, additional fee, and charge description.

Applicable scenarios:

  • Check the standard charge structure for a business type before creating a quotation.
  • Review which service items are enabled under the current business tab.
  • Update the name, price, additional fee, or description of a charge node.

Not applicable:

  • If you need to create a quotation for a specific customer, use the quotation pages instead of the service guide.
  • If you need to make a quotation effective for a customer, complete that action in the quotation workflow.

4. FAQ

Q1: Why can I see the service guide page but cannot change the data?

A1: Your account may only have permission to view the guide. If clicking a service item does not open Edit Node, ask the administrator to check your quotation and business permissions.

Q2: What should I do if I changed the wrong price?

A2: Open the same business tab again, click the same service item, correct the value in Edit Node, and click Save. Then review the affected quotation records if they already referenced the old value.

Q3: Can I use this page to make a customer quotation effective?

A3: No. This page is for maintaining the standard service guide. Use the quotation workflow when you need to issue, approve, or activate a quotation for a customer.
