Export Inbound Order Data in GWMS
1. Scenario
Inbound order export is used to export inbound forecast data from GWMS to Excel. GWMS supports field selection across these dimensions:
- 【Main Information】: inbound order header information.
- 【SKU Dimension】: SKU-level inbound details.
- 【Box Dimension】: box-level inbound details.
This guide is for warehouse users, customer service staff, and operations staff who need data for reconciliation, customer communication, exception review, or internal reporting.
2. Steps
Prerequisites
- Your account can access
GWMS-Inbound Management-Inbound Forecast. - Your account has inbound order export permission.
- You have already filtered by customer, warehouse, status, time, or inbound order number if needed.
2.1 Open the export dialog
Go to GWMS-Inbound Management-Inbound Forecast.
To export specific inbound orders, select the target rows first.
To export by current query conditions, click 【Export】 directly. GWMS asks for confirmation before opening the field selection dialog.
2.2 Select Main Information fields
In the 【Main Information】 tab, select inbound order header fields.
Common fields include:
- Inbound order number
- Business type
- Owner
- Warehouse
- Status
- Arrival method
- Expected arrival time
- Tracking number
- Created time
- Forecast total boxes
- Received total boxes
- Received total SKUs
- Forecast total SKUs
- Last receiving time
Use 【Select All】 or 【Unselect All】 to adjust quickly.
2.3 Select SKU Dimension fields
In the 【SKU Dimension】 tab, select SKU detail fields.
Common fields include:
- Inbound order number
- Box number
- SKU code
- Product name
- Dimensions
- Length unit
- Volume
- Volume unit
- Weight
- Weight unit
- Production date
- Expiration date
- Batch number
- Expected quantity
SKU dimension is useful for customer item checks, batch checks, expiry checks, and forecast quantity review.
2.4 Select Box Dimension fields
In the 【Box Dimension】 tab, select box detail fields.
Common fields include:
- Inbound order number
- Box number
- Dimensions
- Volume
- Weight
- SKU type count
Box dimension is useful for checking carton dimensions, weight, box number range, and receiving differences.
2.5 Confirm export
After field selection, click 【Export Excel】.
At least one field must be selected. GWMS stores the field selection in the browser local storage and restores it next time.
3. Notes
3.1 Filter before export
Before exporting, filter by:
- Customer
- Warehouse
- Inbound order status
- Inbound order number
- Created time or expected arrival time
This avoids exporting too much data and improves review efficiency.
3.2 Choose fields based on purpose
- Customer communication: main information and SKU dimension.
- Receiving review: box dimension and SKU dimension.
- Billing or statistics: quantity, status, customer, and warehouse fields in main information.
- Exception review: export receiving records and putaway records together when needed.
3.3 Field selection is browser-local
The selected fields are saved in the current browser. If you switch devices, use another browser, or clear browser cache, the selection may return to default.
4. FAQ
Q1: Why does GWMS say at least one export field must be selected?
A1: No field is selected in Main Information, SKU Dimension, or Box Dimension. Select at least one field and export again.
Q2: Why is the field selection not all selected next time?
A2: GWMS restores your last field selection. Click 【Select All】 on each tab if you want to restore all fields.
Q3: Does export include only the current page?
A3: Export follows selected rows or current query conditions. It is not limited to the current page.
Q4: What if I need receiving exception fields?
A4: Inbound order export focuses on forecast, SKU, and box data. For receiving exception details, use GWMS-Inbound Management-Receiving Records.
